Shakeal Masoud

Shakeal Masoud is an attorney from Orange County, CA. At the age of 21, Mr. Masoud was able to secure initial stage one funding to operate one of the first dot com companies on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. As President and CEO of Light Media, Inc. he worked directly with numerous CEO’s and business development managers to help pioneer the dynamic Internet business landscape on the Peninsula. In his daily role, Mr. Masoud developed advertising strategies to obtain marketing commitments from Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, he directly evaluated alliances and strategic partnership options required to quickly position his company as a market leader.

Mr. Masoud’s entrepreneurial ambitions and experience as a youth has helped him in the legal realm. He is a published, noted author and passionate consumer rights bankruptcy attorney. In addition to his duties as an attorney, he is currently actively involved in creating a consumer bankruptcy blog which focuses on credit repair strategies, bankruptcy rights and allows his clients to gain financial and legal knowledge to obtain a fresh start in their lives. “I created this firm to empower the consumer and to protect their rights and feel privileged to have done so for hundreds and hundreds of my clients.”

Kiran Bisla

Ms. Bisla received her B.A. in Spanish with an emphasis in pre-medical sciences from Tufts University in 1998. Ms. Bisla received her J.D. from Whittier Law School, graduating cum laude. In law school, Ms. Bisla was a member of the Whittier Law Review and authored an article entitled, “It All Came Down to a Single Hair: The Probability of Exclusion vs. the Probability of Guilt Through the Use of Mitochondrial DNA Evidence in State v. Pappas.” which was published in 2004. Ms. Bisla was a member of the Whittier Moot Court Honors Board and was a semifinalist in the University at Buffalo Law School, Wechsler Moot Court Competition in 2005. In addition to the state courts of California, Ms. Bisla is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

After graduating law school, Ms. Bisla worked for a private firm and worked on civil litigation matters involving business litigation, insurance coverage and toxic torts. She also has participated in several trials and successful mediations. Ms. Bisla’s current practice areas include bankruptcy, family law, personal injury and immigration.

Ms. Bisla is fluent in Punjabi and proficient in Spanish.
